Welcome
It will be a great pleasure to welcome you to Villa Koumos. This wonderful place was love at first sight for me and somewhere I wanted to come back to year after year. I hope it will be the same for you. The views are some of the best on the island of Crete and as the sun goes down, you will experience spectacular sunsets over the mountains.
You have the choice of indoor or outside living spaces. Take a swim in the pool, relax on one of the patios or just enjoy the garden. You're on holiday, the choice is yours! The villa has all the comforts of home. If you need anything, please ask Yvonne, my villa manager.
You will be staying in the traditional village of Gavalochori which has a museum, bakery, shops and tavernas and other attractions. Take time to explore the village and surrounding areas. The nearest beaches at Almyrida and Kalives are sandy and have been awarded Blue Flags. Both places have an excellent choice of shops and restaurants.
